Paier
Bob from Accounting
The autonomous AI agent that runs the back office, from small business to enterprise, and the money for everyone inside them.
From the corner shop to the enterprise, the same problem. The tools that run the business never talk to each other. Bob does.

01The Problem
The tools that run a business don't talk to each other.

From a single shop to an enterprise, every business runs on a stack of tools for payables, payroll, vendors, and fraud, and none of them talk to each other. Time and money leak through every gap, and fraud slips through the cracks between them. The people who work there face the same broken setup with their own money, waiting on pay they have already earned.

PayablesPayrollVendorsFraudPaySavings
Six tools. Six silos. Nothing connecting them.
Each product is a part of the car. None of them drive it.
02What We Built
Meet Bob from Accounting.

An autonomous AI agent that runs the back office and handles money for everyone inside the business.

It's the group chat you actually want to be in. Bob creates one uniform line of communication across every platform, so the business finally runs as one connected system.

Scans email for invoices, catches duplicate bills and scam vendors.
Codes expenses, runs payroll, routes surprise bills through Affirm.
The people who work there get early access to pay they have earned, plus bill pay and savings, free.
For small business
Bob replaces the stack for those who never needed enterprise tools.
For enterprise
Bob connects the legacy tools you already run. Replace or integrate, whatever is right for your business.

03Why This Team Wins
Matt Finkle, Founder and CEO
Matt Finkle
Founder & CEO
Both halves of the solution. The operator and the builder.
My superpower is walking into a domain I do not know, seeing how it actually works, and building a real business in it fast. Started a farm, events, and CPG business and exited in 2024. Got a real estate license in ten days and built a business in NYC from nothing.
Along the way I ran small businesses, made payroll, chased vendors, and lived the exact back office pain Paier solves.
With no engineering background I shipped the full live product in under thirty days, building with the same AI that runs it.
One person who is the customer and the builder at once, moving faster and closer to the problem than a funded team of ten.
Pre revenue, I secured a signed partner agreement with Plaid, built live integrations across Stripe, Affirm, Ramp, Google, and Microsoft, and passed Google CASA Tier 2, an independent security assessment.

05Business Model & Market
Revenue scales with usage, not just logos.

$95 per business, enterprise from $295 a month, then we earn on top of every transaction, daily pay cashouts, processing, P2P, and float. The more they run on us, the more we make.

Small business — volume
30M+
US small businesses, a few million in our core segment, at ~$4K a year each in software plus usage.
Enterprise — value
$295+/mo
Fewer accounts, far higher ACV. Multi-entity, multi-seat, heavy usage, the same agent at enterprise scale.
Together, a multi-billion-dollar market, and we earn more the more they run on us.
06Target Customer
From the corner shop to the enterprise.

Anyone running a business on disconnected tools has this problem, and we serve the whole range. Our beachhead today is retail and hospitality, across both small business and enterprise, where the back office is most broken and the people inside it are squeezed hardest.

I know this customer. Thin margins, high turnover, a manager doing payables at midnight, and hourly staff who need money before payday.
Too big for spreadsheets, too small or too disconnected for the tools they have. Contractors are the natural next step.
07Competitive Landscape
A crowded map, full of friction.

Every box is another tool that does one piece and connects to nothing. No one ties it all together. Until now.

08Competitive Advantage
The edge is structural.

Paier serves all three sides of a business, the business, its vendors, and its workers, in one system, transacting peer to peer. Every business I onboard seeds its vendors and workers for free, and they pull in the next at no acquisition cost.

Copying it means an incumbent giving software away and competing with Venmo on consumer. Their model will not allow it.

09Why Now
AI just crossed from answering to doing.

An agent can finally run a back office instead of just describing one. That unlock is months old, not years. The same collapse in build cost let me ship this in 30 days.

Small businesses need the work done without hiring a finance team.
Enterprises need their disconnected legacy stack to finally talk to itself. Same friction from slide one, the other end of the market.
Workers expect daily pay, and the agent economy is about to need accounting, payment rails, and payroll.
10Go To Market
Each customer brings the next.
Founder-led direct
Outreach plus a referral program rewarding well connected operators for intros and P2P invites. Bob runs outbound autonomously today.
Seed the team free
Every business I close seeds its whole team onto Bob, so each customer brings the next at near zero cost while competitors pay for every logo.
Carried to the next job
Those users carry Paier to their next employer.
11Next Milestones
From flywheel built to flywheel proven.
Close the seed and grow paying businesses across small business and enterprise, from a handful today to 15, then 50.
Land the first enterprise logos and get daily pay and P2P running at real volume.
Passed Google CASA Tier 2. SOC 2 next.
Flywheel proof, in order. A vendor we transact with converts into a paying business. Then an employee carries Paier to a new employer. That second one is when the model self propels.
